Pediatric Physical Therapy

Pediatric physical therapy allows a child to reach his/her maximum potential of independent function and to actively participate in home, school, and community environments.  Physical therapists are experts in movement, anatomy, physiology, and clinical reasoning, allowing them to treat a wide variety of clinical conditions, as well as to promote health and wellness from infancy through adolescence.  The physical therapists of JOY are equipped to treat developmental delay, orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, genetic conditions, postural deviations, cardiovascular conditions, sensory processing disorders, etc.  Our physical therapists work closely with the child, their family, teachers, and other medical professionals to provide a quality continuum of care in clinic and natural environments.  Our therapists use evidenced based practice to provide the following services as a part of their plan of care:

Our PT’s hold Doctoral Degree and are licensed in the state of Georgia.  They each have a unique focus as they perform various continuing education activities to further their passions and special interests in working with children and their families.
