My name is Patricia, I’m a bilingual speech-language pathologist who was born and raised in Cuba. I’m fluent in both Spanish and English. With a strong foundation in cross-cultural communication, my purpose is to bring a unique perspective to our work with children and families. I have extensive experience in both school settings and the private sector, where I have supported clients with a wide range of speech and language needs.
My personalized, compassionate approach is rooted in evidence-based practices, and I’m committed to help each individual achieve meaningful communication in both languages.
Speech and language therapy at our practice addresses how a child understands language and how they express it, which are two different skills that can be affected independently. Our speech-language pathologists work on speech clarity, vocabulary and grammar, social communication, fluency, and augmentative communication, and several also hold additional training in oral motor and feeding therapy.
Parents are partners in every service we provide. You are welcome in sessions, and you should expect to leave with something specific to continue at home rather than a general instruction to practice more.
