About Victoria

Victoria A. Mosher is a bilingual speech-language pathologist at Joy Therapy and Learning Center, providing therapy in both Spanish and English. Victoria has worked with children since 2017. She received a Bachelor of Science in Education and Early Childhood Development and a Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders, both from Florida International University. Her experience includes feeding, early intervention, apraxia, children with tracheostomies, autism spectrum disorders, and auditory processing, and she is trained in the Sequential Oral Sensory (S.O.S.) approach to feeding.

With Spanish and Cuban heritage, Victoria is passionate about supporting bilingual children and advocating for the many benefits of bilingualism. Contrary to common myths, bilingualism does not cause confusion or delay; it strengthens communication, cognitive flexibility, and cultural connection. She loves working with children because they are the future and have the power to shape the world we live in, and supporting their growth, confidence, and development is meaningful to her because the children we pour into today will help shape our tomorrow.

Victoria is a licensed speech-language pathologist in the State of Georgia, holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA, and is CPR and First Aid certified. Outside of work, she loves hiking, spending time with her little one, and traveling the world with her family. She is originally from Miami and has called Georgia home since 2021.

About speech therapy at Joy Therapy

Speech and language therapy at our practice addresses how a child understands language and how they express it, which are two different skills that can be affected independently. Our speech-language pathologists work on speech clarity, vocabulary and grammar, social communication, fluency, and augmentative communication, and several also hold additional training in oral motor and feeding therapy.

Parents are partners in every service we provide. You are welcome in sessions, and you should expect to leave with something specific to continue at home rather than a general instruction to practice more.
