About Kaitlyn

Kaitlyn Wade is a Registered Behavior Technician at Joy Therapy and Learning Center. Kaitlyn has worked with children since 2023, and her experience is in autism spectrum disorders and milestone delays. A graduate of Central High School, she is currently attending the University of North Georgia.

Kaitlyn enjoys collaborating with her Joy team and experiencing firsthand the progress the kids make from their work together in the clinic, and she loves finding new ways to encourage and connect with each kid. Kaitlyn is a Registered Behavior Technician and is CPR certified. Outside of the clinic, she loves spending quality time with family and friends and listening to music.

About ABA therapy at Joy Therapy

ABA at our practice begins with an assessment of what a behavior is accomplishing for a child, because a behavior that looks disruptive is usually solving a problem the child has no better way to solve. Programs are written around communication, autonomy and skills that serve the child, and they are revised against session data rather than repeated. Parent training runs alongside every program.

Parents are partners in every service we provide. You are welcome in sessions, and you should expect to leave with something specific to continue at home rather than a general instruction to practice more.
